What To Expect
To ensure your visits are EXTRAORDINARY, here is what to expect:
#1 – DISCOVERY CALL
It is very important to Dr. Siebert that she gets to know you and your health situation to make sure she is the right doctor for you. Dr. Siebert will jump on a 10 minute call with you to gather some basic information from you and allow you to get your questions answered first hand. If you both decide that this is the place for you, Dr. Siebert will hand you off to her amazing staff to get you scheduled as soon as possible.
#2 – YOUR INITIAL VISIT
Plan to be here for 45 minutes, but we try to keep it to 30 minutes as your time is valuable.
Prior to your visit, you will need to complete our New Practice Member intake forms, which will be emailed to you once you schedule your appointment. We ask that you complete this intake at least 24 hours before your appointment so that Dr. Siebert can review it.
Once you arrive, Dr. Siebert will meet with you and ask questions about your history based upon the intake forms. She will then determine which tests need to be performed to determine the severity and complexity of your situation. She will perform some or all of the following depending on your individual case:
Postural Analysis – Dr. Siebert uses visual inspection and an advanced posture screening app to assess your posture. Postural distortions can indicate misalignment (also called subluxation) which may be impacting your health.
Myovision sEMG – The MyoVision utilizes technology similar to the EKG. Instead of measuring heart muscle patterns, we measure the muscular compensation about the spine. Muscles compensate for pain and/or spinal subluxation by tensing up to brace and guard. The MyoVision objectively documents this pattern of muscular guarding, establishing need for care and tracking progress over time. The scan is non-invasive and does not cause pain or irritation. This makes it safe for children, pregnant women and seniors.
Laser Foot Scan – Your feet are your foundation and if they are not functioning correctly, they could be creating stress on other parts of your body and causing unneeded suffering and pain.
Comprehensive Physical Examination with Orthopedic and Neurological Testing – This testing includes range of motion, reflex analysis, movement analysis and assessment of the brain and nerves in your body. It may be area specific or be more comprehensive depending on the individual.
X-rays – Should Dr. Siebert determine you need x-rays, you will be referred to a local imaging center.
#3 – CONCLUSION OF INITIAL VISIT
Once Dr. Siebert has completed her testing and you have been cleared for treatment, Dr Siebert will give you your first treatment. She will also give you her care instructions and a financial plan for you to complete your care. It’s as easy as that!
#4 – SUBSEQUENT VISITS
Follow up visits will typically last 10-15 minutes and will be scheduled in advance.
Insurance
Health Insurance Patients: In the world of rising deductibles, lower reimbursement rates and with the responsibility for payment shifting more and more to our patients, we have elected to be out of network with all insurance companies as we feel we can best serve you this way.
Insurance verifications are done as a courtesy to you by this office and cannot be guaranteed. We are required by law to collect deductibles, copayments and coinsurance.** These cannot be waived, by law. If you have had providers do this for you in the past, you were both breaking the law. All fees are charged to you and are your responsibility regardless of whether or not your insurance company assists in payment on your account
**Keep in mind that your copayment or coinsurance may actually be MORE than the standard office visit fee. In these cases, it is often more cost effective for you to self pay for your services. In this case, you will be provided a superbill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
We do not have a contract with your insurance company – you do. Please understand that your insurance policy is a contract between YOU and YOUR insurance company. Benefits and coverage are determined by your insurance company – not the doctor or this office.
Personal Injury Patients: If the doctor has accepted your personal injury case, you will fill out a separate medical lien as the doctor has agreed to wait for payment until your case has settled. This is a courtesy to you. Please understand that although the doctor has agreed to wait for payment, the services are being charged directly to YOU and YOU are responsible for payment, regardless of any settlement, judgment or verdict.
Medicare Patients: We are a participating provider for Medicare. Medicare covers ONLY the adjustment. It also only covers the adjustment portion under certain circumstances, meaning maintenance is not covered. Medicare does not cover examinations, reexaminations, x-rays, or therapies. Your secondary may or may not cover the examinations, reexaminations, x-rays or therapies depending on the type of plan you selected.
Medicare Advantage Patients: We do not participate in any Medicare Advantage networks. You can still receive care under certain circumstances. Call the office for details.
Parking
As Dr. Siebert has a home office in a neighborhood, please do NOT park in front of any neighboring driveways. Please park in the driveway if spots are available or directly in front of the house. Help us remain courteous neighbors.
Payment Policies
Payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, personal checks, debit or credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Flexible spending accounts and Health Savings Accounts (HSA’s) are also accepted for payment.
Checks returned for any reason will incur a $30 fee.
We are honored to partner with you for optimum living!
